Joe Rash is a veteran of the semiconductor industry, with an extensive track record of driving innovation and growth at several notable companies. His work has spanned various high-tech sectors, including data center, communications, automotive, and industrial IoT, with a strong focus on developing and marketing silicon, hardware, and software solutions.
At Altran, a Capgemini acquired company, Joe spent two years leading the VLSI and Embedded solutioning team then another 2yrs leading the world-wide Semiconductor industry sector strategically working with teams around the globe responsible for delivering engineering services to some of the largest chip makers and semiconductor manufacturing equipment companies in the world. Following his global role, Joe led the Capgemini Americas US team and P&L for the semiconductor industry growing the business 135% two years in a row including major VLSI services wins with a top tier hyperscaler.
Joe has been involved with both business and technical aspects of projects spanning process nodes from 22nm ultra-low power IoT sensors and controllers to 3nm high performance multi-die chiplet architectures addressing the power and performance needs of 5G infrastructure, AI datacenter, and state-of-the art AR/VR metaverse devices.
In addition to his deep understand of the semiconductor value chain Joe’s work has included activities related to embedded software, AI/ML model development, Optical interconnects and substrates, 5G radio infrastructures, and Quantum computing. Joe is also the inventor of nine patents issued in the fields of chip design and data networking architecture.
